Welcome to SKåL88, where memories take root over 500 meters above sea level.

This charming, minimalist and design-forward refuge, inspired by Nordic skali, was created with cyclists and nature lovers in mind. Skali means “shelter” or “cabin” in Old Norse, while “Skål” is a toast to togetherness. The number 88 evokes an infinite path — endless bike trails and a return to what truly matters.

Here, time slows down and life finds its natural rhythm again. This rustic little haven, with its all-wood interior bathed in natural light, invites you to reconnect with the essentials: sharing unforgettable moments in nature. Its expansive terrace overlooks a breathtaking landscape where sunsets stir the soul.

It will bring back sweet childhood memories when everything happened outdoor, barefoot summer days, winters with rosy cheeks playing in the snow, muddy legs and pride after a mountain bike ride. It will bring back those timeless nights around the fire: stories whispered in the dark, laughter rising with the smoke, and the sweet scent of roasted marshmallows. Come experience those kinds of moments, comfortably seated in our Adirondack chairs. Take the opportunity to enjoy some delicious local beers and strum a few chords on the guitar!

This cabin is full of warmth and comfort. On the ground floor, a welcoming space awaits where you can share good times around a hearty meal. Upstairs, the open-concept layout exudes tranquility. You’ll find two Queen beds and a cozy reading nook.

Here, we don’t watch the clock. We follow trails, climb mountains, and pause to listen to the silence. Here, we unplug. We play outside. We live outside. Because in the end, real life, the good life, is out there.
